Education In the Outdoors
Every 2nd year our classes head off the Glengarry Farm for three days to experience life in the outdoors, in tents. Part of this EOTC experience is completing a river study which includes measuring water quality and flow, discovering and identifying the creatures that live in and beside the river and, of course, river safety. The evenings are spent cooking on man-made fires, star gazing, cardboard sliding and a variety of team building games.
This EOTC trip allows students to get to know each other better and gives everyone, including adult camp helpers, an opportunity to show their talents and strengths in an outdoor setting.
